Camden High School celebrated NAIDOC 2023 – For Our Elders with a weeks worth of cultural activities and events. We were joined on the day by local Elder Uncle Eddie Burge; Uncle Les Atkinson from Muru Mittigar; Lara George and the NRL School to Work team; ACLO Lisa Smith; Youth Solutions; local artist Danielle Mate; and Brianna Kemmerling, a NAISDA graduate and performer.

Rosemeadow Public School attended an ‘On Country’ professional learning experience. Staff began their day at Kentlyn, where they learned the history of Bull Cave and its cultural significance to the Dharawal people.
Camden Haven Community celebrates NAIDOC Week 2023 with local schools
Biripi – Hastings Community
A group of public schools, seven primary schools and one high school, in the Camden Haven Community gathered together at Kendall Public School to celebrate NAIDOC 2023, “For Our Elders.”
Schools were encouraged to invite both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students to participate in various cultural activities and workshops that were facilitated by Local Elders and community members.
